Post Ngo Chor Koon 5 Ancestors Boxing.
Folks,

The reason why I am so busy; shooting more materials for our DVDs products range.

Presently doing the Sarawak’s round; we are starting with Ngo Chor or 5 Ancestors Boxing.

Or more specifically Kan Teck Guan’s Ngo Chor.

Comprising of:-

1. Lohan
2. Dat Mor (Bodhi Darma)
3. White Crane
4. Tai Chor or Grand Ancestor
5. Monkey

This is a very rich system in terms of span and training methodologies.

KTG’s line even maintains some YC White Crane forms intact and because of White Crane & Tai Chor components present, the initial training is SanChin-centric.

The Lohan and monkey exists in principles embedded in the forms and fighting concepts and only a small number of forms are dedicated to these 2 styles.

The first DVD, featuring seniors from Chinese Martial Art Association, will showcase 5 descriptive introductory forms :-

1. 7 Steps San Chin
2. Tien Ti Ren (Heaven, Earth and Man) Sanchin
3. Character “10” San Chin
4. Fierce Snake Obstructing Path
5. 4 Gates Pole

After this, I will be traveling to Sibu to shoot GM Xiong De Lu for the Lohan and Tai Chor forms found in this system.

Here a photo-slide clip showing the various aspects of Ngo Chor ….

Hello Eric,

Loved the surrounding/ athmosphere, that you filmed. Really a nice background. Look forward to look closer at the DVD.

Did I saw a right arm boxing sequence? Always nice to see some LOhan back too.

Regards,

Evert.
